What you can expect to do here:  You participate in a team environment, work closely with Project Coordinators, other Project Managers, Senior Project Directors/Technical Leads and Field Technicians/Scientists/Engineers to progress contaminated Upstream oil and gas sites towards closure You review Health and Safety plans and Emergency response plans You prepare proposals and cost estimates, schedule field staff and subcontractors, review data and reports and provide recommendations You are responsible for project accounting, tracking and reporting requirements  You train junior staff in environmental practices including Phase I and II ESAs, drilling, surveying, groundwater sampling, oversight of remediation etc. as well as on site specific health and safety You interface with clients to ensure needs are met and projects/proposals are moving forward - Work with other members of the team to ensure provision of the support necessary for completion of projects You work with and provide support to other members of the group in sharing health and safety, project management, project completion and client service responsibilities  What you'll bring to WSP:  University degree in engineering or natural/earth sciences Minimum 6 years of experience in contaminated site assessments of Upstream oil and gas sites Sound understanding of the need for health and safety procedures in the workplace/Possess a safety conscious attitude Strong field experience and willingness to train others Understanding of the Alberta Environmental regulations such as Tier 1 and Tier 2 guidelines, Professional designation
