Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, to ensure timely and accurate processing.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring they align with company objectives and compliance standards.
  • Manage budgeting and forecasting processes, offering insights to guide financial decision-making.
  • Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies, maintaining accurate records across various entities.
  • Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and prevent errors.
  • Analyze financial data to spot trends, track performance, and recommend improvements.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure invoices and payments are processed efficiently.
  • Keep up to date with tax regulations and oversee tax filings to ensure compliance.
  • Ensure accounting processes align with both internal policies and external regulations.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field (preferred).
  • 5+ years of hands-on accounting experience with a proven track record.
  • Proficiency with accounting software (e.G., QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft 365.
  • Experience with payroll systems like Dayforce PowerPay is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset and a drive for continuous improvement.
