Our Bay Area office is seeking an Entry to Mid-Level Engineering Geologist to join our dynamic team. This role will involve conducting geologic evaluations, field exploration, testing, and assisting in proposal and report preparation for various civil engineering projects. Must have a PG or CEG license certification .
Perform geologic evaluations in support of geology, earthquake hazard, engineering geology, and geotechnical engineering studies.
Design, plan, and perform field exploration, testing, and instrumentation programs.
Perform observation and testing during construction.
Perform soil and rock slope stability analyses.
Interact and communicate with subcontractors, clients, and staff at all levels.
MS Degree in Geology or Engineering Geology, with a BS degree in Geology or Engineering Geology.
~ 0 to 10 years of experience in geologic field explorations.
~ Proficiency in analyzing LiDAR data and conducting field reconnaissance mapping.
~ Experience in subsurface exploration techniques and soil/rock classification.
~ Basic computer skills including MS Word, Excel, and ESRI ArcGIS.
