This is a client-facing, Lead Information Technology Consultant role, and you will be providing IT consulting services to clients in the Vancouver area. The work will primarily be done on-site in downtown Vancouver. On some days you may be doing technical work at the offices of your clients, and some days you’ll be at the Vancouver office, coaching and mentoring other members of your team. And when you can’t solve a problem on your own, you will have a clear escalation path to get things resolved and keep your clients happyAs you can imagine, a big part of this role will focus on Microsoft-centric technologies to keep corporate clients running smoothly - Azure, M365, Windows, Exchange and Active Directory are always important topics. Depending on the client setup, there may also be work on networking and storage, and even some server-side work related to virtualization and server configuration. Needless to say, there will never be a shortage of work -- or variety. As a leader in the team, part of your time will also be spent developing the skills and experience of the junior members of the team. So in this role you’ll have a chance to combine your technical skills and your leadership skills. Another attractive parts of this job is that you’ll be working alongside many experienced technical folks with lots of opportunities to share knowledge and solve problems together.
