This Heavy Equipment Technician, Journeyman position will be based out of our shop at #24, 38403 Burnt Lake Crescent, Red Deer, AB. Travel and accommodation willnotbe provided to Red Deer.

Shift will be 5X2 (Monday to Friday) with 8 hour day shifts (No nights)

Full time, year round work with an excellent team completing all repairs in house, allowing continuous growth and skill development
Preventative maintenance on Highway tractors and trailers (Peterbilt, Kenworth), trailer mounted specialty pumper units
Commercial Vehicle Inspections
Attend daily tool box and safety meetings as scheduled and adhere to corporate and site safety regulations.
Heavy Equipment Technician Journeyman required
Valid Class 5 driver’s license with no more than 5 demerits in the last 3 years is required
Class 1 driver’s license would be an asset
Experience in hydraulic, electrical, and pump systems is an asset
Able to provide a negative pre-employment drug and alcohol test
You’re meticulous – you have no problem completing the required paperwork for projects and jobs
Your knowledge of Cummins, CAT and Mercedes engines would be an asset
