Bobcat & Doosan of the Peace (a division of Rentco Equipment Ltd) is a fast-paced local company that has been servicing Grande Prairie and the Peace Country for 60 years. We are a full line Bobcat dealership as well as the dealership for Doosan Heavy equipment. We boast a strong sales and service team, and a fully stocked parts room.
Heavy Equipment Technician
We are currently looking for a full-time Heavy Equipment Technician (2nd Year Apprentice to Journeyman) to join our Service team. As the Heavy Equipment Technician, you are responsible for:
# Completing the installation of new and added on equipment
# Maintaining a working knowledge of changes in technology and repair techniques

Red Seal Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician (or 2nd-4th Year Apprentice); Class 5 driver's license with a clean abstract and the ability to go on service calls when required
Knowledge of power, electrical, and hydraulic systems
Ability to be flexible and to work well under pressure
40 hours a week plus on-call and overtime when required
~ Working both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions, both at our shop and at customer locations
~ Stable, year-round employment with great hours (Monday-Friday from 8:00-5:00 pm with occasional overtime)
