JOOLA is seeking for an experienced and highly organized Warehouse Manager that be overseeing all aspects of warehouse operations, inventory management, logistics, and purchases from global suppliers. JOOLA was first established in 1952 and built a global reputation as a pioneer in table tennis. In 2022, JOOLA expanded into the rapidly growing pickleball scene and quickly attracted the biggest names in the sport. As an official table tennis sponsor for three Summer Olympic Games and the official sponsor of pickleball's top athletes and the Professional Pickleball Association (PPA), the team at JOOLA combines its storied expertise with fresh perspectives to bring innovation to both sports. JOOLA creates a variety of equipment, apparel, and accessories for both table tennis and pickleball players, professional and recreational. With offices in US, Germany, Brazil, and China, JOOLA has a global presence and wide distributor network.Reports to: General ManagerLocation: Toronto, Canada Responsibilities:Inventory Management: Oversee and manage inventory levels, ensuring accuracy and optimal stock levels. Conduct regular inventory audits and implement inventory control procedures.Receiving: Coordinate and manage the receiving process, including inspecting and verifying incoming shipments, ensuring accurate documentation, and updating inventory records.Picking: Supervise the order picking process to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Implement best practices for order fulfillment and minimize picking errors.Shipping: Oversee the shipping process, including packing, labeling, and dispatching orders. Ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to customers.Purchasing: Manage purchasing activities from global suppliers. Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiate terms and prices, and ensure timely procurement of materials and products.Staff Management: Lead and manage warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations. Foster a positive and productive work environment.Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and implement safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve warehouse processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall operations.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or similar role.Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, including inventory management, receiving, picking, shipping, and purchasing.Strong proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).Experience with NetSuite is an asset.Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control software.Excellent organizational and leadership skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
