We are looking for professional, highly organized, and ambitious individuals with a passion for helping physicians and healthcare organizations achieve their goals. The ideal candidate demonstrates exceptional professionalism, diplomacy, and communication skills, and is comfortable interacting with physicians, business owners, and executive leadership.
As a Physician Recruiter (Independent Contractor) and representative of CanAm Physician Recruiting, you'll take ownership of the end-to-end physician recruitment process, all while upholding our high standards. Sourcing and attracting top physician talent using innovative recruitment tools and business development strategies to support growth.
Generating leads through networking, targeted outreach, and relationship-building efforts.
Developing and executing sales strategies to secure new recruitment contracts for your client base and CanAm Physician Recruiting.
Consulting physicians and clients on licensing and immigration requirements.
Facilitating the recruitment process from initial client onboarding to invoicing.
Building and maintaining a strong network of contacts within the healthcare industry.
Provide personalized consultation services to Physicians matching their needs with employer requirements, maintaining close contact with placed candidates to ensure satisfaction, and assisting with contract negotiations, retention, and relocation.
Offer consultation services to International Medical Graduates (IMGs), assessing credentials for licensing and placement in Canada.

Full Bullhorn ATS/CRM access to support your workflow and optimize the recruitment process.
Branded social media posters provided to amplify your outreach on platforms like Linkedin, Facebook and Instagram.
Fathom AI meeting assistant provided to automatically record, transcribe, and summarize video calls.
Familiarity with Canadian healthcare systems and licensing procedures
Experience working with International Medical Graduates (IMGs)
Previous international Physician recruitment experience or exposure
Previous experience in a leadership role is an asset, ideally in the healthcare or hospital setting.
Strong computer skills including:
Web Browsing: Ability to navigate the internet, conduct research, and use search engines.
Social Media: Understanding social media platforms and their use in business
Experience with Bullhorn or other web based ATS/ CRM systems is an asset.
A combination of relevant work experience and education will be considered
