Job Description:

As an Electrical Assembler, you will fit, assemble, and wire components according to blueprints, manuals, and engineering memos to assemble premium quality, purpose-built electrical panels.

What will you do?

  • Perform assembly activities as outlined in provided work documents.
  • Read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings and specifications.
  • Lay out components and wire electrical panels as per schematics.
  • Follows all applicable safety procedures and practice safe work habits.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
  • Identify non-conforming components.
  • Initiate continuous improvement activities in own area and support continuous improvement activities of all employees.
  • Perform other job activities as required.

Skills & Experience

  • Minimum High School Diploma
  • Relevant College diploma/certificate or Skill Trade preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
  • Previous experience with wiring and electrical panel building an asset.
  • Proven mechanical aptitude.
  • 1 to 2 years relevant manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Mechanically inclined and familiar with hand tools
  • Ability to communicate and interact effectively.
  • Ability to work equally well as part of an assembly team or individually.
  • Organized with attention to detail.
  • Process focused with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Works collaboratively across the business for maximum impact
  • Punctual and reliable
