We have an exciting opportunity to join the role of a Litigation Manager working in the litigation department at our downtown Vancouver office.

The role is to provide key litigation oversight and support for our litigation department. The role report directly to managing partners.

Preszler Law firm runs more trials than any personal injury law firm in the country. We are focused on getting excellent results for clients. We do not view our business as a job but instead as a calling rooted in access to justice for traditionally vulnerable populations. The right candidate will share our motivations for personal injury work while also having an interest and appreciation for running a sustainable and growing business.

Your role will include the following:

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Overseeing the litigation department and coordinating workflow
  • Training and onboarding new staff
  • Assisting with performance reviews
  • Coordinating trial assistance, and providing assistance when required
  • Preparing reports to management on work flow and team performance
  • Ensuring court filings are completed in an accurate and timely manner
  • Other general office management duties as assigned by Management

Experience

  • Experience working as a senior paralegal or litigation manager
  • Personal injury experience
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills and the ability to work independently
  • Empathetic with an effective ability to build rapport with clients and team members
  • Strong skills at setting and enforcing clear and fair boundaries with work expectations
  • Excellent accuracy and the ability to exercise initiative and good judgement
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing work demands, volumes and schedules based on the litigation schedule
  • An interest in business growth and entrepreneurship
