Une firme mondiale de production de gaz industriels est à la recherche d'un Directeur de projets pour développer, estimer, planifier et exécuter la construction d'installations de production de gaz industriels partout en Amérique du Nord. Le Directeur de projets sénior sera chargé de diriger une équipe multidisciplinaire, de contrôler l'ingénierie détaillée, de surveiller les activités de fabrication d'équipements, d'établir et de mettre en oeuvre un plan de sous-traitance, de surveiller le calendrier et les progrès de l'entrepreneur et de rendre compte de l'état des projets à la direction de l'entreprise. L'individu devra promouvoir une forte culture de sécurité à travers toutes les phases d'exécution du projet, donnera aux employés les moyens de faire des choix sûrs et de se protéger ainsi que leurs collègues. World leading industrial gas manufacturer is looking for a Project Manager to develop, estimate, plan and execute construction of industrial gas production facilities across North America. Senior Project Manager will be responsible for leading a multidisciplinary team, controlling controling detailed engineering, monitoring equipment fabrication activities, establishing and implementing subcontract plan, monitoring contractor schedule and progress, and reporting on the status of projects to corporate management. The individual will promote strong safety culture through all phases of project execution, empower employees to make safe choices and protect themselves and their colleagues. Reports to: VP - Project Execution.

RESPONSABILITÉS

Représenter les intérêts des unités d'affaires dans le développement et l'exécution d'investissements en capital allant jusqu'à 200 millions de dollars;

Aider les équipes de projet et de développement commercial à identifier, budgéter et planifier des solutions de projet qui maximisent la compétitivité de l'offre commerciale d'Air Liquide au client final;

Planifier l'exécution des projets selon les pratiques du Project Management Institute et les procédures d'Air Liquide;

Former une équipe multinationale d'exécution de projet composée de représentants de plusieurs entités commerciales;

Participer aux réunions d'examen technique requises sur les sites d'entreprises étrangères (Chine, Émirats arabes unis, Allemagne, France, etc.);

Créer et maintenir un registre complet des risques du projet et gérer activement les risques et opportunités identifiés;

Participer à la négociation et à l'exécution des contrats d'ingénierie, d'approvisionnement et de construction;

Mettre en oeuvre le suivi et les rapports d'avancement à l'aide de mesures et de tableaux de bord pour communiquer l'état des projets à la haute direction;

Participer à l'établissement d'un planning de référence du projet et au suivi de l'avancement par rapport à ce planning;

Travailler avec les organismes de réglementation pour obtenir les permis et licences requis;

Diriger l'équipe de projet dans la création de packages de sous-traitance disciplinaire (pieux, civil, mécanique et E&I), participer aux réunions préalables à l'offre et de la clarification des entrepreneurs et assumer un rôle de premier plan dans la sélection des entrepreneurs;

Négocier les contrats de construction avec l'aide du service de sous-traitance et de l'équipe juridique d'Air Liquide;

Superviser toutes les activités de construction sur site et contrôler le respect du contrat;

Analyser, gérer et atténuer les risques;

Favoriser un climat d'entraide entre les équipes d'exploitation, d'ingénierie, de construction et de livraison de projets:
