As an Engineering Manager, your role will be to lead engineering work and contribute to proposals, make technological choices and implement projects in the mining and industrial sectors. Lead and participate in preparing plans and specifications and perform detailed engineering based on guidelines for mandates involving heavy machinery, conveyors, pump systems, crushers and metallurgical processes.
# Supervise or carry out design calculations and ensure that plans meet guidelines as well as legal and regulatory requirements.
# Present technical information, concepts or study results.
# Verify and produce files for tenders, specifications and other technical documents.
# Assign and review the work of junior engineers (engineers-in-training), technicians and drafters assigned to projects and assess technical scope.
# Provide assistance to more experienced personnel for the technical aspects of complex tasks.
# Perform technical information surveys.
# Occasionally coordinate the work of drafters or others at the request of a senior engineer.
# Occasionally supervise contractors on site.

Do your qualities and values match our corporate culture?
University degree in Mechanical Engineering
Fluent in French, both spoken and written
Experience in mechanical engineering in the industrial, energy or mining sectors
Knowledge of AutoCAD, SolidWorks and SmartPlant applications
Available for short-term (mandatory) and long-term (asset) assignments at client offices or sites in Québec and Canada
Major asset: Bilingual (English/French – spoken and written)
Asset: ASP Construction card
Participation in innovation projects
Custom training and development plans
