The Clinical Sleep Research Unit has exciting opportunities for a postdoctoral researcher interested in expanding their expertise in clinical research in the area of sleep, mental health, and neurosciences. The selected candidate will work on interdisciplinary projects centered on sleep phenotyping in various clinical populations (with a focus on brain-heart interactions) and investigating the delivery of adapted sleep interventions. Along with experience with human research, knowledge is sleep, mental health, neuroimaging, EEG, and/or heart rate monitoring/analysis is an asset. Having a clinical background (e.g. clinical psychologist) is also a strong asset, but is not necessary. ResponsibilitiesContribute to projects development and setting up projects logisticsContribute to day-to-day operations including (but not limited to): data acquisition, database management, and write up for studies involving EEG, heart rate monitoring, and neuroimagingCollaboration/coordination with interdisciplinary clinical teams for research-based clinical assessments and treatmentsContribute to supervision of honours and graduate studentsN.Opportunities are available immediately to drive publications based on previously collected data Required QualificationsRecent Ph.D. in neuroscience, psychology, or related fields Perfect mastery of English (oral and writing) - French is also an assetSelf-motivated with strong interpersonal skills and a preference for working within an interdisciplinary, collaborative environment To apply, please email a cover letter addressing requirements, CV or resume, and at least three references to rebecca.ca (please use “Postdoc position in clinical sleep research” in the email title).
