This is a 4 months contract located in Toronto, ON/ Hybrid (2 days onsite). We are looking for the right candidate that has advance Excel skills, SAP Payroll and having PCP is an asset. *Excel Test Required for this role* Education and Experience: Requires a knowledge of accounting and payroll principles related to payroll processing and reporting system in order to reconcile differences. Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) designation is nice to have. This knowledge is considered to be normally acquired either through the successful completion of a four year university education in human resources or accounting or by having the equivalent level of education. Working experience with SAP Payroll system and ServiceNow(Help Desk tool). Advance knowledge of Excel Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with staff, internal and external parties. Job Description: Payroll Analyst will be accountable for the following: Support Payroll Leader with day-to-day operations for the Payroll function Provide additional Payroll processing support during high volume periods Manage the overpayment process, by conducting analysis and providing solutions Develop and prepare reports to assist the Payroll Leader with monitoring the performance of the team Develop and prepare reports to assist the business with making strategic decisions Subject Matter Expert Act as a payroll subject matter expert for the organization and as a key point of contact for Payroll related escalations
