About the role

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Area Project Manager to join our Engineering Services Team. 

While reporting to the Engineering Services Manager, you will be working to enable the most effective project delivery by ensuring projects are scoped, programmed and risk managed appropriately. 

Your focus will be to lead and drive project teams to ensure the prioritisation of projects to meet the needs of the business.

About the person

With an Engineering degree and significant exposure of the manufacturing industry, you will have proven experience in managing strategic and capital expenditure projects from conception to fruition, as well as facilitating process improvements where applicable. 

You will have exceptional leadership skills with the ability to engage with people from varied backgrounds, the ability to engage and build professional relationships is paramount to this role. 

The normal working hours for this position is 40 hours per week however to ensure that project requirements are met, you may be required to work additional hours when needed. This role is based at New Zealand Steel in Glenbrook.
