The Data Control Administrator is responsible for data entry, data maintenance and data integrity in and between various databases/applications such as SAP and within various data sets (customers, pricing, materials and vendors etc). Interaction with various internal department is required on a daily basis to ensure accurate information is received and that accuracy standards, data quality and data integrity are achieved at all times. The position is responsible for building detailed knowledge about Lactalis master file components relative to the business processes and underlying file structures.


Master Data creation, maintenance and reporting including data entry, upload and changes into SAP.
Promotes data governance by ensuring quality and accuracy of material master data through execution of the annual governance plan where scheduled checks and balances are performed.
Detect omitted, duplicated, or incorrect data prior to input and take necessary actions to correct it always following established processes and procedures.
Investigate daily data integrity issues using available tools and reports and make corrections following established data standards, processes and procedures
Ensure data integrity and data quality by developing working relationships with key stakeholders and providing education on data standards and established processes and procedures.
Support project work by entering and changing required data associated with those projects.
Participate in monitoring key performance indicators for the group by logging errors, lead time issues and first pass quality issues.


Post-secondary education (Bachelors’ Degree in Business or Information Technology preferred)
Understanding of RDBMS and experience with SQL an asset
Proficient with office computer technology including Lotus Notes databases, Microsoft Office products (strong in Excel), and SAP including data structures particularly, Customer, Vendor, Material, and Pricing Masters.
