We have it here We are members of Nexia International, a leading global network of accounting and consulting firms that allows us to serve clients around the world.The OpportunityDavidson & Company is searching for a Senior for our public company audit department with a focus on ICFR and PCAOB standards to join our audit team. Your responsibilities as a Senior include: Participate in all phases of the audit engagements, ensuring compliance with PCAOB standards and the Sarbanes-Oxley Act. Thoroughly document audit procedures and findings using the Firm’s established methodology. Supervise, train, and mentor junior team members to ensure their professional development.Assist in the testing of internal controls over financial reporting under the requirements of SOX.Research and analyze audit regulations and accounting standards, staying updated on PCAOB and SOX compliance requirements. Provide clear and concise accounting insights to clients addressing complex accounting and internal controls issues. Proactively engage with key clients to gather necessary information, resolve issues, and recommend improvements to business processes. Candidate ProfileEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field and CPA designation (or equivalent) required.Minimum 2-3 years of audit experience (public companies). Experience in PCAOB audits; familiarity with SOX compliance is an asset. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills internally and externally to deliver superior client service.Strong project management and analytical skills with a proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.Strong organizational skills with a keen sense for detail. Computer expertise including knowledge of audit-preparation software, Caseware, and MS Office applications.
