Act as the technical specialist for the Seats mechanical system.

Transform customer demands into engineering content that is doable and realistic.

Collaborate with different internal parties (Operations, Detailed Design, Projects, Programs, Technical, etc.) Support Program Change Requests (PCR).

Coordinate technical integration meetings, analyze, and define technical proposals to meet customer and operation needs.

Present RFC at change board and communicate with all stakeholders of a production, configuration, compliance and/or other problem and request actions to change documents, drawings, specifications, nomenclature, etc.

Be in direct contact with suppliers and be responsible for the delivery of quality engineering documentation that meets Bombardier Standards.

Participate in Design reviews and have a good understanding and interpretation of regulatory and industry requirements.

Ensure system components meet technical and certification requirements.

Have a College or University mechanical or aerospace engineering degree or equivalent with a minimum of eight (8) to ten (10) years of relevant experience.

Have relevant technical experience in interior completion; experience on Global & Challenger Platform and Seating Design or Integration is an asset.

Have solid experience working with CATIA V5, ENOVIA, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Excel and Word.

Are well organized and are project-oriented.

Have good communication skills including good English writing skills, and good English and French verbal skills.
