Your Mission:

The Manager, Financial Reporting, reports to the Senior Vice President, Finance and Corporate Operations and prepares and analyzes quarterly and annual financial reporting in accordance with IFRS Accounting guidelines. The successful candidate will also assist with the day-to-day management of the financial operations including managing the expense report and credit card process, the build-out and maintenance of the financial policies, processes and systems, and the equity record management, etc.

Your Day-to-Day Adventures

Full Cycle Accounting

  • Intercompany transactions
  • Journal entries/accruals/reconciliations
  • Assist in Consolidations and FX calculations/translations
  • Technical accounting research
  • Prepare and manage entity-level financial statements
  • Assist in the financial reporting process (IFRS)
  • Assist in MD&A preparation
  • Conduct variance analysis with commentary

Audit and Controls

  • Maintain strong internal control environment
  • Support inventory count/audit

Other Duties and Projects

  • Oversee expense report and credit card operation and management
  • Support in any process automation and system implementations or upgrades
  • Assist in developing and maintaining financial policies, procedures and processes
  • Assist in equity record management

Who You Are:

The ideal candidate for this role is a dedicated, detail-oriented and result-driven finance professional with a deep understanding of full-cycle accounting, IFRS and financial report preparation/management. They should excel in leadership, analytical thinking, and effective communication, with a commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive work environment.

What You Bring

  • CPA designated with 5+ years of full-cycle accounting expertise, relevant accounting and reporting experience
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and experience in technical accounting research
  • Preparation of MD&A
  • Knowledge of a major financial system
  • Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Highly organized with attention to detail
  • Ability to work both collaboratively and independently in a fast-paced environment
