We currently have an exciting opportunity for an End-To-End Supply Chain Manager. This role is based in our Toronto office, and reports to the Director, Supply Chain.

This is a vital role for ensuring the seamless workflow from one stage of the supply chain to the next with a focus on reducing supply chain delays, improving supply chain visibility, and improving operational costs while meeting customer demand and expectations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Site Scheduling, Inventory Optimization and Stage-Gate/Product Launch Project support. They will be responsible for establishing important supply chain metrics with reporting mechanisms to measure SC performance against Goals of the company.

The role serves as a key member of the HK-Supply Chain Team and will often be called upon by Senior Leaders in the organization as a subject matter expert supporting the S&OP (Sales and Operation Planning) process, including strategic sourcing plans for growth, optimization, and risk mitigation.

Demand Planning:

  • Manage forecasting and demand planning for assigned customers and/or market segments at an item-warehouse level.
  • Responsible for the monthly demand plans over an 18-24 month rolling horizon.
  • Responsible for creating demand plans for Long-term capacity planning (LTCP) and annual budget for the plant-market segment assigned.

Supply Planning:

  • Creates detailed supply plans in the short to mid-term horizon for assigned product categories to achieve customer service and inventory health objectives, in alignment with the rough-cut capacity plan.
  • Leads the monthly S&OP/Business Review meetings with Sales & Manufacturing for their site.
  • Presents forecast roll-ups including assumptions, risks and opportunities.
  • Works closely with colleagues for raw material replenishment to mitigate raw material supply risks.

Scheduling:

  • Maintain a production schedule for HK plants considering raw material availability, plant constraints, and sales priorities.
  • Coordinate with manufacturing team members to keep them informed of changes to the schedule, and provide daily feedback on schedule attainment.

Inventory Optimization:

  • Develop and implement replenishment strategies based on demand forecasts, sales projections, and lead times.
  • Provides regular reporting on the Corporate KPI for Inventory Quality Ratio (IQR) and related inventory metrics and conducts root cause analysis with corrective action plans.
  • Manage the development of standardized processes, tools, and systems to maintain overall efficiency and transparency of inventory goals.

Stage-Gate & New Product Launches:

  • Participate and support cross-functional and New products. launches for both sites with a Supply Chain focus for the successful execution of project planning & tasks.
  • Support to the ERP Stream Lead during and post-implementation.
  • Promotes adherence to Master Data Governance.

Job requirements:

  • University degree or Community College diploma in Business, Operations, Logistics Management, Purchasing, or equivalent
  • 5-7 years of experience in Demand and/or Supply Planning and Scheduling for the manufacturing industry
  • CSCMP or similar certification and/or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience in leading and influencing cross-functional teams to drive Operational Excellence
  • SAP experience is a must
  • APICS Certification is an asset
