WinstonBrock Recruitment, on behalf of our Global manufacturing client, is seeking a Technical Sales/Service Engineer in Canada. The ideal candidate possesses a sales background in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment.
Our client is a leading innovator of steel abrasives products and services serving industries such as metal processing, automotive, oil and gas, construction, energy, railway, and shipbuilding. With operations in nine plants across four continents and a commitment to quality and sustainability, you will be part of a global organization delivering cutting-edge innovations with a focus on eco-friendly solutions.

Work Location: Canada-wide remote option; Head office located in Welland, Ontario
As the Technical Sales/Service Engineer, you will promote the company's products and services within Canada, fostering long-term customer relationships and driving new business opportunities. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to sales and service.
Maintain and strengthen existing customer relationships through regular site visits and technical support.
Develop new business opportunities by selling products and services to untapped customers in Canada.
Leverage sales opportunities with current customer base by introducing the parent company's new products and technologies.
Negotiate pricing contracts and managing over dues while supporting technical needs of customers.
Collaborate with internal teams to balance sales activities with production inventory, optimize service quality, and provide insights based on market intelligence.
Monitor market trends, competitors, and industry developments to inform strategic business decisions.
Motivate and collaborate with agents and distributors to promote a service-first delivery model.
Utilize internal systems to track sales activities and customer intelligence effectively.
Required Skills: Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Metallurgical Engineering Degree preferred.
3-5 years of experience in industrial sales in a foundry, steel mill, or heavy industry environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and email communication.
Ability to travel within Canada and occasional international travel.
Enthusiastic, persistent, and committed to achieving sales targets.
