Reporting to the Manager, Concrete Flatworks the Project Coordinator will be responsible for providing overall administrative and technical expertise required support to a large scale construction project.
Assist the Manager in managing work on-site to ensure the compliance of construction with the drawings and specifications
Support the Superintendent and the Manager in planning and implementing schedules, determining manpower levels, material quantities, inspections, equipment, and requirements are maintained
Monitor work performance to ensure project rules, procedures, and safety requirements are being followed
Advise of potential problems, work interferences, and schedule difficulties and assist in resolving these problems
Maintain and analyze up-to-date cost reports and submit necessary changes to ensure the project is delivered within budget
Monitors project performance, schedule, costs, equipment, manpower, materials, equipment maintenance, safety and quality control
Interface with project team, subcontractors and related third parties
Monitor and inspect project site to maintain a safe work environment and provides leadership to ensure policies, procedures and standards are followed

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field. Experience on MTO road construction projects is preferable
~ Exposure to all aspects of road and bridge building
~ Outcome focused, critical thinker with the ability to analyse and visualize to ensure continuous improvement across our business.
~ Strong ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple competing priorities.
