In the role of Senior ML Data Analyst, you are key in linking our customers, our data science team and our product management team.
As a Senior ML Data Analyst, you will:
understand our customers varied data pain points and blindspots
leverage our data products to answer customer queries
provide guidance to our data science team to build better data products
develop, manage and build data pipelines, visualizations and ML models with our data science team
collaborate with our product management team to develop new data products
collaborate with our customer operations team to deploy new data products
We would expect you to be knowledgeable, articulate, sensible, able to coordinate with other peers and senior executives, and collaborate and deliver results in a fast-paced environment where teamwork, professionalism, confidentiality, and communication are essential.
Analyze, visualize and understand customer data sets
Analyze and leverage AssistIQ's data products to provide insights to customers
Work with the AssistIQ's data science team to develop new models, insights and dashboards
Work with the product management team to build new data products
Analyze current technology/processes used for the company's data products and develop strategies to improve and expand upon them.
Participate in writing and maintaining technical documentation
Participate in planning out platform product features and development projects
5+ years' experience in a hands-on data analytics or data science role
~ Experience with writing and troubleshooting SQL statements
~ Experience inferring, refining and sharing data insights to technical and non technical users across an organization
~ Experience processing data and training models using a Python development stack
~ PowerBI, Tableau etc)
~ Experience with data visualization techniques (e.g. matplotlib routines including t-sne and/or umap) or rapid prototyping tools (eg: streamlit)
~ Knowledge of data pipelines and ETL platforms such as DBT an asset
~ Working understanding of machine learning ideas and language.
~ Familiarity with cloud-based AI/ML services an asset
~ Experience writing user stories an asset
~ supply chain data sets an asset
~ Experience in the life science, healthcare or technology industry an asset
~ Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
~ French oral and written communication skill is an asset
~
