Job Description

Avaxia is searching for a skilled Visual Communications Designer who can transform complex concepts into visually stunning and easily digestible designs. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for design, a strong understanding of visual storytelling, and the ability to create impactful visuals that resonate with our audience.

Skills & Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Develop visually engaging materials, including presentations, infographics, marketing collateral, and other visual assets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project goals and effectively communicate messages through design.
  • Create and maintain a consistent visual identity across various platforms and mediums.
  • Translate abstract ideas and data into compelling visual narratives.
  • Stay up-to-date with design trends and innovative visual communication techniques.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Visual Communications Designer or similar role.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of visual communication projects.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present and explain design concepts.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on creating visually appealing and effective designs.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience with motion graphics or video editing software.
  • Familiarity with design for digital and social media platforms.
  • Knowledge of interactive design principles.
