Speech-Language Pathologist: Saskatoon and/or Northern Areas

SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST

Howden Speech and Language is looking to contract a part-time or full-time Speech-Language Pathologist. The ideal candidate will be located in Saskatoon, Prince Albert, North Battleford or surrounding area and have experience assessing and working with preschool and school-age children.

Responsibilities:

  • Assessment of children ages 0-18 years old in the areas of: articulation, phonology, language and other areas of communication.
  • Programming and therapy for students, including goals with progress reporting.
  • Out-of-town driving would be involved; travel-time and mileage would be paid. Must have access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Applicants must be eligible for, and licensed by, the College of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists of Saskatchewan (CSASK).
  • Flexible working hours (i.e., daytime, evening or weekend) based on personal preference.
  • Coverage of professional courses, prep time and equipment/resources (e.g., computer, headphones) dependent on individual contract.
  • Mentorship, including supervision of provisional licensing hours, is also available for the right candidate.
