Why you are interested in transportation engineering
in Civil Engineering (or transportation related areas) and eligible for registration as an EIT with EGBC, or a Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology and eligible for registration as an AScT with ASTTBC
Proficiency with Microsoft Word/Excel, Synchro/SimTraffic, and AutoCAD
Experience with or enrollment in courses related to transportation planning, traffic engineering, and road safety
Experience with traffic counts and other traffic data collection surveys
Attendance or presentations at transportation related professional events

The ideal candidate will be a flexible and enthusiastic team player, be eager to learn new skills , and be willing to support projects of various types at a technical level. They will also be required to have and maintain a valid driver’s license. Provide support on transportation planning, traffic engineering, and road safety studies and reports
Complete transportation analyses using industry-standard tools, methodologies, and guidelines
Prepare conceptual design drawings for transportation improvements across all modes
Organize and conduct site visits and traffic surveys
