Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Controller to join our team. As a Controller, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and performing various accounting tasks. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, excellent organizational skills, and proficiency in accounting software such as Microsoft office with advanced proficiency in excel

Responsibilities:

– Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes

– Process invoices, payments, and expense reports

– Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial transactions

– Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets

– Preparation and completion payroll processing

-Experience with inventory accounting is preferred

– Maintain employee records

– Perform account analysis and reconciliation to identify discrepancies

– Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures

– Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial information and support

Experience:

– Accounting background is preferable

– Understanding how a dealership operates is preferred, or can learn quickly

– Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role

– Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices

– Proficiency in using accounting software, such as Excel, PBS software (DMS), QuickBooks

– Familiarity with bank reconciliation processes

– Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry

– Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

– Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
