Advance quality standards at Vanderwell as a Quality Control Coordinator located in Mitsue Industrial Park, Alberta. Lead daily quality control checks and enhance grading efficiencies across production lines. With over 80 years in the industry, Vanderwell values quality and stability, and is in search of a Quality Control Coordinator. This role is pivotal for conducting inspections and making necessary adjustments to ensure the highest product standards. You will engage with dynamic teams and maintain compliance with all quality regulations. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily inspections at production and packaging stations
- Evaluate Gradex efficiency through package inspections
- Adjust grading and sorting processes proactively
- Notify management of quality-related issues
- Partner with Comact to uphold grading standards
- Bachelor of Science in Wood Product Processing or relevant experience
- Minimum two years in the lumber processing field
- Mechanical knowledge and high attention to detail
- AFPA grading certification is beneficial
- Must live locally or be prepared to relocate
