Our client is a well recognized market leader as one of the top intermodal service providers in Canada. Due to continued tremendous growth, the organization is seeking a Vice President, Transportation Operations based in Mississauga, Ontario reporting to the Chief Operating Officer. The Vice President, Operations is responsible for operational excellence of both the Toronto, and Montreal operations, ensuring profitability, efficiency and best in class customer service levels.

Are you interested in bringing your savvy operational background to a business poised for exponential growth over the next 3-5 years? Do descriptives like innovative, analytical, assertive, resourceful, enthusiastic, focused, practical, and collaborative describe you best? Along with a minimum 10 year’s leadership experience within the asset-based transportation sector, you also embody a strong, pragmatic approach to trucking operations, customer service, dispatch, and the finer points of driver motivation and retention. A lean six-sigma mindset coupled with a hunger to innovate through the adoption of new technologies and executing new ways of doing business round out your skill set. A post-secondary degree in Business, Engineering (or equivalent) along with MBA is preferred.
