Jarlette Health Services 503 Essa Road, Barrie, Ontario Join our team as a Regional Manager - Operations/Clinical LTC Permanent Full-Time Opportunity Under the direction of the Director of Long-Term Care Operations, the Regional Manager assumes the responsibility and accountability of ensuring that the homes under his/her supervision fulfill the corporate mandate for providing quality care and meet the overall philosophy and mission of Jarlette Health Services. The Regional Manager will, among other respobsibilities, ensure accountability of Executive Directors for fiscal management of individual locations, co-ordinate a comprehensive corporate program for establishing, maintaining, monitoring, evaluating and improving the quality of care, services, accommodations, programs and goods, assist in the review and planning of long range goals related to corporate mission, vision, values and strategies for the organization, visit individual locations on a regular basis to ensure unity, continuity, and accountability, use the CQI/Risk Management process to evaluate and ensure follow-up, promote wellness as concept of living, responsible for assisting in human relations and labour relations management, and must participate in local and provincial committees. Qualifications: Must possess a post-secondary degree from a program that is a minimum of three years in duration, or a post-secondary diploma in health or social services from a program minimum of two years in duration or be grandfathered as required under the Fixing Long Term Care Act, 2021, ss and Ontario Regulation ss. 249/22 (3,4) Must have successfully completed or is enrolled in a program in long-term care home administration or management that is a minimum of 100 hours in duration of instruction, A minimum of three years working experience in a managerial or supervisory experience in health or social services or A minimum of at least three years working experience in another managerial or supervisory capacity, if they have already successfully completed the course mentioned above Demonstrated leadership and communication skills Prior experience in human resources and labour relations management preferred Must demonstrate an active interest in ongoing education Must be computer literate Must possess valid Driver's License and be willing to travel Our offer to you may also include: Health, Welfare and Dental Benefits Pension program where we match contributions and invest in your future Referral bonus Assistance with tuition Skill development and internal advancement = growth in your career Awards and recognition programs and team appreciation events Exclusive discounts on products,services and travel Please note, all applicants must be located in Canada and legally entitled to work in Canada.
