About the Position:

KiSoJi is a leading next-generation antibody company dedicated to discovering and developing highly differentiated antibody therapeutics for challenging targets in oncology and other diseases. Our advanced antibody platform leverages single-domain antibodies from proprietary multi-species transgenic mice, AI-enabled antibody fingerprinting technology, and the ability to create robust, easily manufacturable multi-specific antibodies. We are seeking a talented and motivated AI/ML Researcher to join our innovative team. 

Function: AI group

Job Title: AI/ML Researcher

Location: Waterloo, ON (Remote/on-site)

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and optimize AI models using deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch.
  • Conduct experiments to evaluate model performance and fine-tune algorithms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into existing systems and workflows.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI/ML and apply relevant techniques to improve model accuracy and efficiency.
  • Document and present research findings and technical reports to stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Strong technical background in developing and benchmarking AI models using deep learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch).
  • Experience with generative models such as diffusion or GAN-based protein models.
  • Familiarity with LLM and GNN-based approaches for protein/antibody generation.
  • Knowledge of protein binding and protein docking research.
  • Experience with 3D image analysis processing techniques is a plus.
  • Background experience as a software engineer is a plus.
  • Fresh PhD/Masters graduates are welcome, provided they have the necessary technical expertise from their research.
