Job Scope:
Reporting to the Sr. Director Change & Organization Effectiveness, the Sr Change & Process Manager will play a key role in leading change through strategic change programs. This person will focus on the people and process side of change – including changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles and organization structures. This role will provide leadership in the establishment of change management and business process analysis practices as part of the newly formed EPMO.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with business leaders across the organization to understand their strategic business goals, map current state capabilities and desired future state processes/requirements
- Identify impacted stakeholders for change and complete change impact & readiness assessments
- Create and lead execution of enterprise change management plans (across communications, training, sponsor roadmap, resistance plans) to support strategic transformation programs
- Balance the impact of change from multiple strategic initiatives across enterprise stakeholder groups
- Engage with stakeholders to understand concerns, gather feedback and secure buy-in for proposed changes
- Identify and address resistance to change through proactive communication, engagement and support
- Provide leadership in building Change Management methodology and tools
Experience:
- Demonstrated experience in leading strategic transformation initiatives, with a deep understanding of change principles and methodologies
- Experience in guiding organizations through people and process changes, including assessing impacts, managing resistance, and ensuring successful implementation
- Strong analytical skills to assess current business processes, identify areas for improvement, and recommend solutions to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal
- Understanding of business objectives, industry trends, and competitive landscape to align with strategic goals
- Ability to work effectively with stakeholders across all levels
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Project Management, or a related discipline). PROSCI, BPM, CBPP and/or PMP an asset
- 10 years industry experience, with 4+ years related change management experience
