AECOM is searching for a Senior level Civil Engineer to be based in our Burnaby, BC office for our Water and Wastewater conveyance group. The successful candidate will have a solid understanding and significant experience in civil engineering, civil technology, project management, design and construction of municipal infrastructure and is familiar with hydraulic modelling and planning principles. She/he will be expected to work successfully within a team environment and be able to communicate effectively with other project team members and customers. The successful candidate will be expected to support in the delivery of infrastructure to customers mostly within the municipal storm water, water and wastewater sector. Design and project management of civil systems associated with municipal water and/or wastewater /drainage conveyance facilities
# Prepare documentation for design projects and reports
# Preparation of project specifications and contract documents
# Perform contract administration
# coordination with regulatory agencies, project planning, budgeting, and scheduling.

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering + 8 years of relevant experience in civil engineering or municipal engineering. Experience with civil engineering, hydraulic modelling, planning, design construction inspection, contract administration. Experience with water / wastewater / drainage conveyance infrastructure in a Municipal environment, including both gravity and pressurized systems. Training and experience in project management. Experience in proposal writing and job scoping. MMCD Contract Administration certification. Excellent written skills needed for technical reports. Proficient with MS Office Suite. Valid BC Class V Driver's License. Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, contractors and clients.
