Program Manager - Risk (Supporting the GO Expansion Program)

Full-time
Collaborating with the Risk Lead to prioritize and plan communication with risk and action owners based on criticality, priority, and reporting timing requirements.
Reviewing the Risk Management plans, procedures, and templates, and adhering to the requirements to maintain a consistent approach throughout the process.
Collaborating with the Risk and Mitigation Action owners to develop, implement, monitor, score, and report risk response plans.
Assisting in managing Program Level risks, including accurately assessing cost and schedule impacts, and ensuring risks are correctly assigned to the appropriate senior representative.
Support the Program Risk team efforts by conducting monthly reviews of program-level risks and mitigation actions.
Assisting senior-level representatives with risk and mitigation actions identification and management.
Supporting the Risk management team by providing inputs to ongoing Risk reporting using proper formats and templates as per defined Plans and processes.
Managing, fostering, and maintaining senior-level client relationships.
Identifying and escalating Program level risks and issues that impact delivery.
Evaluating and contributing to the establishment of best practice Program risk policies, processes, and procedures in alignment with the agreed Program delivery approach, under the guidance of the Program Risk Lead.
Promoting collaboration and building relationships
Ability to identify & analyze Project, Program and Business risks. 
Detailed understanding of construction technology, planning, delivery, and site logistics.
Detailed understanding of commercial approaches
Adept at monitoring and reporting Program-level progress and assure efficient and effective use of resources across the program. 
Understanding of various Contract, Commercial and Governance procedures. 
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure the maintenance and upkeep of accurate data and reporting both internal and external.
Responsible for the overall direction of a large consulting team (may consist of multi-firm resources and client resources) leveraging a diverse array of talents and delegation of responsibilities 
Define the success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout the project and program life cycle 
Plan for and meet with stakeholders (including senior management and sponsors) to streamline transparent project communications 
Direct the production of accurate and timely reporting of project or program status and performance throughout its life cycle 
Control the delivery of and adherence to the operating or delivery plan scope, schedule, milestones, budgets, and KPIs on the project and address issues with corrective actions as appropriate 
Finalize and sign off on progress reports, proposals, and presentations to various audiences, including team, client executives, and key stakeholders 
Evaluate project effectiveness on the project or program and identify areas for improvement 
Set and interpret service expectations while delegating and managing deliverables with team members 
Build and maintain a positive, high-performing team culture with an openness to constructive challenge, continuous improvement, implementation of lessons learned, and an overall ‘right-first-time” mindset 
Reinforce acceptable standards of workmanship through every stage of the project 
Supervise and guide clear and focused staff performance objectives (including non-company resources) to ensure excellence in results 
Promote a project environment that is inclusive, and diverse and celebrates our differences 
Clarify internal quality control check and resolve quality issues for the project
Prepare procedures and work instructions and ensure that all program team members comply with the risk management plan, procedures, and requirements of the assigned scope of work 
Develop risk breakdown structure aligned with project WBS and CBS 
Prepare risk training materials and train the project team on the principles of risk
Lead and provide technical support to the management of risk through the facilitation of regular risk reviews
Evaluate risk registers at the project and program level, ensuring quality standards are met 
Perform quantitative cost and schedule risk analysis using Risk Management software (e.g. Oracle Primavera Risk Analysis, Acumen Risk, etc.) Distribution S Curve Graph, Sensitivity Analysis Tornado Chart and Deep Dive Schedule Logic)
Follow up with risk owners to ensure the mitigation actions are on track, including escalation where required 
Review contractor progress reports and identify the risks impacting project cost and schedule and reflect them in the risk register 
Work closely with scheduling to prepare a high-level schedule (or assess detailed schedules) to be used for quantitative schedule risk analysis and define the link between risks, duration uncertainties, and schedule activities 
Liaise with cost to monitor project contingency utilization and alignment with cost risk exposures
Provide technical guidance and training to members of the team appropriate to their area of accountability 
Guide reporting on inputs for project and program-level reporting 
Office-based 
Minimum of 12 years of experience in Risk Management 

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field 

Licenses OR Certifications:
~ Holding recognized certifications including Risk Management Professional (RMP) and Project Management Professional (PMP) 

Expert grasp of prevailing Risk Management methods 
Extensive understanding of tools and metrics needed to evaluate project performance
Well-versed and experienced in managing the interdependencies between technology, operations, and business needs 
Mastery of risk management software including Active Risk Manager (ARM), Oracle Primavera Risk Analyzer (OPRA), Acumen Risk, Primavera P6, Acumen Fuse, MS Project, etc.
Demonstrated functional acumen to support how solutions will address client goals while maintaining alignment with industry best practices 
Proven success in providing leadership to project teams by building and motivating staff to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones
Experienced in leading, engaging, coaching and mentoring a team of Risk professional professionals
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office 
Ability to arrange priorities and escalate competing risks to meet deadlines with minimum input from leadership
Must have demonstrated experience relaying and receiving information (written and verbal)in a demanding multidisciplinary project environment
Expert ability to work collaboratively and independently on creative and analytical tasks in a structured, disciplined, technology-driven environment 
Demonstrate senior leadership and core competencies at a high level of development.
Ability to anticipate and forecast the key risks and opportunities available to the Program to ensure the core vision is achieved. 
Coordinates workstreams and establishes actions plans with key stakeholders for implementation.
Effective capacity to anticipate, identify, and minimize risks
