Are you the dynamic and versatile Senior Information Developer who will join the Ciena Product Documentation Development organization?
Can you contribute to the evolution, development, and maintenance of the Ciena Technical Publications that are key to the Ciena business?

Responsibilities
You will need to apply experience and judgment to perform the functions of the job:
- Plan, build, develop, write, edit, and update a variety of software and hardware customer technical publications (such as product datasheets, register maps, user guides, reference manuals, EDK guides, and API reference manuals) for Ciena's system-on-chip (SoC) product offering.
- Research and translate technical information into multimedia and web-based documents (including on-product context-sensitive help) for non-technical and technical users.
- Recommend and implement new documentation methods and formats that serve and satisfy technical and customer requirements.
- Produce product documentation and online help that is clear, concise, and compliant to documentation and quality assurance standards.
- Collaborate within cross-functional teams that include senior Product Line Management, SW & HW Design, ASIC design, Product Verification, System Network Engineering, Customer Support, and Marketing personnel.
Experience

Responsabilités
Vous devrez faire preuve d’expérience et de discernement pour exercer les fonctions du poste :
- Planifier, construire, développer, rédiger, éditer et mettre à jour une variété de publications techniques logicielles et matérielles destinées aux clients – par exemple, des fiches techniques de produits, des cartes de registre, des guides d’utilisation, des manuels de référence, des guides pour trousse de développement intégrée (EDK) et des manuels de référence pour interface de programmation d’application (API) – pour l’offre de produits de systèmes sur puce (SoC) de Ciena.
- Rechercher et traduire des informations techniques dans des documents multimédias et sur le Web, y compris l’aide contextuelle sur le produit, pour des utilisateurs non techniques et techniques.
- Recommander et mettre en œuvre de nouvelles méthodes et de nouveaux formats de documentation qui répondent aux exigences techniques et à celles des clients.
- Produire une documentation sur les produits et une aide en ligne claire, concise et conforme aux normes de documentation et d’assurance qualité.

Expérience
