As a Data Engineer at TripArc, you will be an integral part of our technology team responsible for enhancing and optimizing our data infrastructure. We are seeking a skilled professional with expertise in Azure Data Factory to contribute to the development and maintenance of our data pipelines, ensuring seamless access to a comprehensive range of travel options and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate new data functionality requests and prioritize based on business value.
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks.
  • Implement and maintain integrations with third-party APIs, ensuring data accuracy and reliability.
  • Optimize backend solutions for performance and security, working closely with frontend developers for seamless integration.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging of data engineering code.
  • Create and maintain project documentation, ensuring effective knowledge transfer within the team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering, with a focus on designing and delivering optimized data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and data warehousing solutions.
  • Strong expertise in Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Databases, Mongo, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Databricks, PySpark and Azure Power Platform.
  • Integrating ETL processes end-to-end data pipelines (using ADF and Azure Databricks) to ensure the quality and consistency of data from different source systems to target data repositories.
  • Design, implement, and maintain end-to-end secure architecture solutions leveraging Azure technologies, including Azure Application Gateway, API Management Gateway, Service Bus, Logic Apps and Azure Functions.
  • Advance understanding of DevOps concepts including azure DevOps framework and tools for CI/CD pipelines.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft technology stack, including .NET Core and Python.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and/or other relational and non -relational databases.
  • Experience with code versioning tools such as GitHub and Azure DevOps.
  • Understanding of Agile development methodologies; experience with Jira Software is an asset.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
