Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.Strong knowledge of and experience with real-time analytics, persistent data stores, data modeling techniques, and adept data pipeline management.Proficient in various programming languages (Python/C#/Java) and adept with tools required for developing complex APIs and executing streaming or real-time data processes.Familiarity with relational, non-relational, streaming, and event-based architectures: practical experience with connecting AzureSQL/MySQL/Kafka/Redis is essential.Experience with Cloud computing platforms and toolchains with big data analytics (e.g. Snowflake, DBT, Tableau Prep), with practical experience in integrating cloud services with conventional hosting/delivery models is considered an asset.Knowledge of data engineering & computing services within Azure's ecosystem (ADF, Gen2 Datalake, Azure Data Fabric & Databricks integrations) would be highly valued.Knowledge of the Financial Capital Market domain, particularly Fixed Income, would be highly valued.Previous progressive leadership roles demonstrating both project and team management skills.Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, with the talent to clearly articulate technical concepts and encourage constructive dialogue within the team.
