Job Summary:

Latium is seeking an experienced Senior .Net Developer with a strong background in both Microsoft Azure and software development to assist with design and implementation of cutting-edge solutions for our projects. In this role, you will combine your expertise in Azure cloud technologies with your development experience to architect scalable, efficient, and secure solutions that meet our business needs.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Architecture Design: Architectural design of cloud-native solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform, leveraging your deep understanding of Azure services and development best practices. Design scalable, resilient, and secure architectures that meet business requirements.
  • Development Expertise: Bring your development experience to the table to architect solutions that align with modern software development practices. Collaborate with development teams to ensure architectural designs are feasible, efficient, and maintainable.
  • Azure Integration: Integrate Azure services seamlessly into architectural designs, including Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure SQL Database, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Storage, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure DevOps, and Azure Active Directory (AAD). Design solutions that leverage the full potential of Azure offerings.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, engineers, managers, and stakeholders, to understand project requirements and translate them into architectural designs. Foster a culture of collaboration and innovation.
  • Performance Optimization: Optimize solution performance and efficiency by implementing best practices and leveraging capabilities such as caching, load balancing, and auto-scaling. Identify and address performance bottlenecks proactively.
  • Security and Compliance: Ensure solutions adhere to security and compliance standards, including data encryption, identity and access management, and regulatory requirements. Design robust security controls and implement security best practices.
  • Documentation and Governance: Create and maintain architectural documentation, including design documents, architecture diagrams, and technical specifications. Establish governance processes to ensure adherence to architectural standards and guidelines.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on advancements and industry trends, and continuously evaluate and improve architectural designs and development practices. Drive innovation and adoption of new technologies to enhance solution capabilities.

 

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

· Proven experience as a Senior .Net Developer or in a similar role, with a focus on Microsoft Azure.

· Proficiency in developing and architecting solutions using Azure services such as Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure SQL Database, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Storage, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).

· Extensive experience in software development using languages such as C#, Java, or JavaScript.

· Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, including Agile and DevOps practices.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

· Azure certifications and development certifications are a plus.
