We have a 4 weeks contract opportunity for a E-learning Specialist in Toronto, Ontario.
This is a hybrid role.
Must haves :
· A post-secondary education in Information Technology, Instructional Design, and/or the equivalent,
· 3+ years of directly related work experience in e-learning development.
· A combination of education, training, and experience deemed equivalent.
· Proficiency with Adobe Captivate

Job Title : E-Learning Specialist,

Contract Duration : 4 Weeks
Hours per day or Week: 7 Hrs. / Day
NOTE :
Remote Option: HYBRID
Mandatory Skills/Certifications
• A post-secondary education in Information Technology, Instructional Design, and/or the equivalent,
• At least three (3) years of directly related work experience in e-learning development.
• A combination of education, training, and experience deemed equivalent.
• Proficiency with Adobe Captivate
Other Skills/Certifications
• E-Learning skills
• Training and Development skills
• Principles and practices of adult education and computer training practices to develop and update custom material and training
• Ensure training materials are up-to-date
• Adobe Creative Suite: Captivate is essential
• Premiere Pro, InDesign, and Photoshop are assets
Assignment Duties :
• Performs maintenance, revisions, and updates on a variety of e-learning training and development programs of client -wide and department-specific interest and/or need, including e-learning modules, training videos, training manuals, and visual workflows.
• Develop strategies for corporate e-learning initiatives and promote innovation and continuous improvement in the use of e-learning and learning technologies by following industry standards in design and development, customizing procured training materials to meet the specific needs of the client.
• E-Learning maintenance and updating tasks include, but are not limited to:
• Inserting updated slides and content
• Redeveloping existing content into the latest version of Adobe Captivate
• Update table of contents
• Update learning module navigation
• Update/refresh user interface (UI)
• Update/refresh user experience (UX)
• Check all links
• Fix all links
• Fix any reported errors
• Upload to test environment in LMS
• Test e-learning on the test environment
• Save updated source files (e.g., Word doc, Captivate files, Premiere Pro, etc.)
