No of Weeks: 35 hours per week
Hours of Work: 8 weeks
Reports to: Human Resources Coordinator Position Summary:
Responsible for providing administrative support to Human Resources programs, including assistance in the recruiting process. Responsibilities:
- Assists with recruiting and hiring e.g. resume screening, telephone screening, background checking, documentation
- Assists with planning and organizing special events
- Assists with the coordination of orientation and training sessions
- Provides administrative support for other duties as assigned
Areas of study – Human Resources Management Qualifications:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain confidentiality
- Detail oriented and resourceful with the ability to take initiative
- Strong time management, organizational, multi-tasking and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word, Excel and Powerpoint
- Ability to work both independently and effectively with other team members.
- Vulnerable Sector screening required
- Proof of full COVID-19 vaccination or Medical Exemption certificate required
To be eligible, applicants must be:
- between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of the employment
