Senior Estimator – Interior Renovations Location: Toronto, ON Salary: $130,000–$150,000 + benefits (DOE) We’re seeking a Senior Estimator to lead pricing and pre-construction for large-scale interior renovation projects ($10M–$20M) in the Greater Toronto Area. You’ll own the full estimating process, partner closely with operations and clients, and help win and deliver profitable, well-planned projects. Key Responsibilities Lead the preparation of detailed estimates for interior renovation projects from concept through to final tender. Review drawings, specs, and addenda; identify scope gaps, risks, and opportunities. Develop trade packages, solicit and level subcontractor and supplier quotations. Prepare quantity take-offs and cost breakdowns for all divisions (architectural, structural, MEP, finishes, etc.). Participate in bid strategy, value engineering, and pre-construction meetings with internal teams and clients. Support contract negotiations and handover to project management teams. Mentor junior estimators and contribute to continuous improvement of estimating tools and processes. What You Bring 7+ years of estimating experience in commercial/ICI interior renovation or fit-out projects. Proven track record pricing projects in the $10M–$20M range. Strong knowledge of GTA subcontractor market and trade coverage. Proficiency with estimating and take-off software (e.g., Bluebeam, PlanSwift/On-Screen Takeoff) and advanced Excel skills. Solid understanding of various delivery models (lump sum, construction management, design-build). Diploma or degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying or related field (or equivalent experience). Strong communication, negotiation, and time-management skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines.
