The position will provide coaching and support to supervisors, managers and directors across a broad spectrum which includes: performance management, interpretation of human rights and employment legislation and policy, workforce planning, interpretation, and explanation of Kwanlin Dün employment and human resources, including occupational health & safety legislation policies & processes, employer and employee rights and responsibilities, and performance management support.
Diploma in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, or a related field. Experience in recruitment and selection process and performance management; Certification in conflict resolution or mediation is an asset.
Knowledge of Kwanlin Dün First Nation governance structure, our community, heritage and culture, social structure, language and traditions, goals, and aspirations are essential for success in this position.
