The Senior Health and Safety Advisor plays a strategic role in terms of support, prevention and health and safety management within the organization. The incumbent will be called upon to enhance managers and employees’ awareness and guide them in their choices in terms of health and safety in the framework of engineering projects.
Promote the firm’s culture regarding health, safety and the environment
Accompany and support employees and managers on work sites
Participate in and lead the risk analysis process
Issue recommendations in terms of health and safety
Support Health and Safety Committees in their work
Develop training programs and facilitate training sessions
Bachelor’s degree
Minimum of 10 years of experience in the area of health and safety
Ability to communicate in English (spoken and written)
Ability to management several projects simultaneously
Experience on construction sites or industrial environments (an asset)
CRSP, CHSC, or NCSO désignation (an asset)
