Jim Peplinski Leasing is looking for a dynamic and results-driven leader to be its next Credit Manager. As the Credit Manager, you will provide day to day leadership to the credit and collections team and play a critical role in assessing customer creditworthiness and enhancing overall risk management practices. This position will report to the VP Finance & Risk. In this role, you will:· Evaluate customers’ creditworthiness, making recommendations on credit limits.· Work closely with sales team to make sure all credit matters are addressed in a timely manner.· Manage credit policies and procedures to ensure they are consistent with company goals and industry standards.· Demonstrate initiative to improve processes and implement controls to ensure efficiency and completeness.· Closely monitor accounts receivable to identify accounts that require follow-up communication or require further action.· Create reporting and analytics for management, highlighting portfolio performance, collection activities and identifying trends.· Work with VP Finance & Risk, to develop strategies to address emerging credit risks and minimize potential losses. · Maintain external business relationships with asset recovery companies, credit bureaus, attorneys and other credit associations.· Work with insurance administrator to ensure that customers’ insurance policies are current.· Create a strong team environment providing guidance and training as needed.What you bring to the table: · Minimum of 5 years’ worth of related experience.· Knowledge of credit risk modelling, credit scoring and underwriting principles· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills· Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis Why you'll love it here:· Driven Culture: we celebrate our wins and the ambition and determination that got us there. · Unplugged Vacation: we mean it - no phones, no emails, totally unplugged.· Health Insurance & Benefits: a healthy teammate, is a happy teammate.· Continuous Learning: we have an insatiable appetite for information and teammate growth is a priority.· OGATA: One Goal, A Thousand Assists - be part of a supportive, dedicated, and empowered team.
