Job Title: Mechanical Technician Location: Peace River, AB Duration: 12 months Contract Required: LNG generator maintenance, assembly and troubleshooting experience LNG engine maintenance, assembly and troubleshooting experience Wellhead drive maintenance, assembly and troubleshooting experience Hydraulic stroking unit maintenance, assembly and troubleshooting experience Millwright, Automotive or Heavy Duty mechanic journeyman certificate required Responsibilities: Perform scheduled and on-call mechanical maintenance in field and shop environments. Assemble, test, and commission LNG engines, hydraulic skids, generators, drive heads, and stroking unit packages. Operate and maintain field service trucks and assigned equipment per maintenance programs. Supervise apprentices and ensure compliance with quality, health, and safety standards. Build and maintain strong professional relationships with customers. Adhere to PCP Product Line standards and reliability-centered maintenance procedures. Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance asset utilization, reduce cost of service delivery, and boost team productivity. Participate in failure investigations and assist with cost-saving and repair optimization projects.
