Senior CAD Technician - Part Time Contract (On-Site)

Job Type: Contract Position (with potential for hire)

Rakocevic Design is a boutique Interior Design firm specializing in high-luxury residential projects, including custom new-builds and select multi-unit residential developments.

We are seeking a highly proficient Senior CAD Technician to join our team on a Part-Time Contract basis.

This role requires expert-level technical drafting, a dedication to accuracy, and the ability to efficiently produce complete, construction-ready interior drawing packages.

Proactive in moving drawing sets forward — anticipating required details, coordinating information, and maintaining momentum without reminder.

Produce complete, detailed 2D construction drawing packages - including floor plans, elevations, schedules, interior sectionals & details.
~ Draft, coordinate, and update schedules.
~ Ensure accuracy, neatness, consistency, and technical precision across all sheets.
~ Work in-office alongside the team for real-time collaboration, markups, and project coordination.
~ 3D modelling in SketchUp is considered an asset (not required).


4+ years professional experience in custom residential interior drafting.
~ Native or near-native English proficiency, for precise written and verbal communication.
~ Expert-level AutoCAD proficiency - with exceptional accuracy, technical skill, and efficiency.
~ Advanced understanding of construction methods, interior architectural detailing, and construction documentation.
~ A dedication to high-quality technical output.
~ Must be available to work in person at the company's Oakville office.
~ Strong professionalism, reliability, and pride in delivering world-class technical work.
