We are looking for a compassionate and caring *Licensed Practical Nurse* to join our amazing care team in one of our beautiful assisted living and long term care facilities*.*

*Facility Address: *
* Sunridge Place: 361 Bundock Avenue, Duncan, BC V9L 3P1
* Cerwydden Care Home: 3243 Cowichan Lake Road, Duncan, BC V9L 4B8

*Position Details: *Casual; Create & control your own schedule
*Compensation: *Starting at *$32.84 per hour*

*Responsibilities*
* Performs assessments.
* Plans, implements, and provides personal and nursing care to residents.
* Administers oral and subcutaneous medications in accordance with pharmaceutical and organizational policies and procedures
* Directly supervises care staff to meet resident's needs.
* Performs other duties as assigned.

*Qualifications*
* Graduation from an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing Program.
* Current registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of BC.
* Current CPR and First Aid certification.
* Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing.
* Knowledge and background in Dementia care (preferred).
* Cultural education and experience are preferred

Job Type: Casual

Pay: From $32.84 per hour

* 8 hour shift
* Day shift
* Evening shift
* Monday to Friday
* Night shift
* On call
* Weekends as needed
Supplemental pay types:
* Overtime pay
