We are on the lookout for a kind-hearted and empathetic Licensed Practical Nurse to become part of our wonderful care team at one of our lovely care facilities.

About the Job: This position offers a Permanent Full-Time schedule with 4 days on and 2 days off.

Facility Address: Sunridge Place, 361 Bundock Avenue, Duncan, BC V9L 3P1

Compensation: $32.84 per hour plus benefits post-probation

Responsibilities:
  • Performs assessments
  • Plans, implements, and provides personal and nursing care to residents
  • Administers medications following policies and procedures
  • Supervises care staff directly
  • Carries out assigned duties
Qualifications:
  • Graduate from an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing Program
  • Current registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of BC
  • CPR and First Aid certification
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Background in Dementia care (preferred)
  • Cultural education and experience (preferred)

The chosen candidate for this position must provide proof of receiving the COVID-19 vaccination and any necessary booster. Exceptions can be made for protected human rights reasons.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $32.84 per hour
