Business Development Manager - FlooringTaiga Building Products — We have a FULL-TIME opportunity available, reporting to the Taiga Director - Flooring. The primary focus of this role is to expand our flooring business in the designated area. The position is located in the Eastern region of Canada.Our Company:We are a respected International Wholesale Distributor of Building Products with branch offices throughout Canada and in various locations in the United States. We are a public company, listed on the TSX.Knowledge/Skills/Competencies MUST hold a minimum of 3-5 years sales experience in related industryMUST have an established relationship with customer baseMUST hold a post-secondary degree or equivalent combination of education and work experienceTeam player as well as an individual go-getterProven record of delivering superior customer service and satisfactionMust be computer literate – use of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is a benefit.Ability to meet and exceed sales targetsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProfessional in appearanceMust be able to travel often between Ontario and Newfoundland.Must be legally entitled to work in CanadaFloorcovering sales experience will be an assetKey ResponsibilitiesStrategic Account and Business Development in all flooring areas is the primary focus, including A&D and End User callsWorking closely with the local Taiga Territory Sales Representative where required.Maintaining the current specialty floorcovering retail client base and generate new business within assigned service areaProvide customers with relevant product information, superior customer service and after-sales servicePrepare various internal paperwork, processing orders, etc.Develop a close working relationship with customers and suppliersIdentify key areas of opportunity by reviewing customers, competitors and trendsPlan and implement promotional programsSchedule, coordinate and conduct product demonstrationsEnsure maximum sales revenues are obtainedAttend periodic meetings and trade shows, as requiredMaintain working knowledge of all features of all products soldProvide customers with relevant product information and serviceBenefitsSalary Range : $70,000 to $ 90,000Dental careDisability insuranceExtended health careLife insuranceRRSP matchVision careWellness programRegular Shift Timing: Monday to Friday.HOW TO APPLY?If you are a self-starter with the above attributes and the desire to grow within our company, we would like to talk to you.
