The Company: Our Client is a well established multiple site food processor that is looking to build out a robust leadership team as the company continues to grow.

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of People & Culture to join our leadership team. This role is responsible for driving people strategy, strengthening organizational culture, and supporting operational excellence across a dynamic food processing environment.

Lead all aspects of human resources, including labour relations, talent acquisition, performance management, and organizational development.
Develop and maintain positive, collaborative relationships with union representatives, ensuring effective negotiation, contract administration, and grievance management.
Partner with senior leadership to align people and culture strategies with business objectives.
Champion employee engagement, retention, and leadership development programs to support a high-performance workplace.
Oversee compliance with employment legislation, health & safety standards, and corporate policies.
Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives across all levels of the organization.

10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, preferably in the food processing, manufacturing, or industrial sectors.
~ Proven ability to lead change, influence at the executive level, and foster a positive workplace culture.
~ Strong knowledge of employment law, health & safety regulations, and best practices in HR management.
